Roseville slides to another loss, this time to Rocklin
It wasn't as easy as some might have expected, but the Rocklin High boys basketball team gradually pulled away in beating Roseville 67-46 Friday night inside Moeller Gym.
The Thunder took a 10-point lead into the break and then doubled it during the third period to finally gain full control of the contest.
Roseville was led by Nick Schwyzer's 12 points, and the Tigers also got eight points from Trey Rosenberg and seven from Jordan Magnusson.
Cody Kale scored 28 to lead all scorers, as the senior was the only Rocklin player in double figures. Alika Lemon scored nine points for the Thunder.
Rocklin (6-3 in the SFL, 17-7 overall) hosts Nevada Union (3-5, 11-11) Wednesday night. Roseville (0-9, 4-20) hosts Del Oro (4-4, 13-8).

johnnyrotten, you need to lighten up dude. The Roseville boys team was not fortunate to have some super talent drop in their laps. But they play very hard with who they have. It must be discouraging to go out each game and try to compete when they are under-staffed. But they show up and play anyway. There's a lesson there for all boys to learn. I'm proud of the Roseville boys in spite of their won-loss record. Another lesson to learn is to never grow up to be a immature bleacher bum like you seem to be. If you have kids I hope they don't inherit this gene. Go Tigers!!
It was meant to be rude and degrading...it is NOT my fault that Roseville will not get rid of the coach (his wife happens to be the AD) and make the necessary changes to turn around the program. If you knew what you were talking about you would know that over the last few years very good players refuse to play BB at Roseville because of the coach. Sportfever, get your head out of lovinbball's rearend and face reality!! One more thing sportsfever...are you REALLY sure your kids do not HAVE my genes??
JR have to ask with all this bitterness is your kid one that is there or left, or just never went there
Whether the AD is his wife or not, there are still boys who are playing with heart every night for the love of the game. This is not in their control; therefore they don't deserve the rude comments. Be nice!
