Eagles fall to Bruins, 55-18
Vista del Lago’s wrestling team finished its dual meet season with a 3-3 record in the Delta River League and an 8-7 mark overall. Vista wrapped up the dual meet season on Wednesday with a 55-18 loss to Ponderosa. The Eagles won three matches by pin, as Austin Rompel (103), Daniel Rodriguez (112) and Chris Chovanec (140) all picked up falls. Trevor Grossi (125), Chris Cooper (145) and David Landuk (171) all lost by decision against the tough league champions. The team is now preparing for the league tournament to be held on Feb. 13.
